Ephesus Ruins

This huge site, one of the best preserved ancient cities in the Aegean, will take most of the day to see every part in detail. It is easily approached by road from Selçuk, or by public transport from Kusadasi. Or if you prefer join a guided tour. A truly magical tour and well worth a visit.

The Virgin Mary House

Beyond Ephesus and on Bulbul Dag (mountain), 8km southwest of Selcuk, the monument is thought by some to be where the Virgin Mary died, and is visited by Christian and Muslim pilgrims from around the world. The small stone house is now a chapel, and probably dates back to the 4th century, although the foundations are thought to be 1st century. You may wish to attend Sunday mass or combine the day with a visit to nearby Ephesus.

Pamukkale is an extraordinary natural wonder. The calcium waters rise from the ground at a temperature of 35 C and tumble down the mountain from a height of 100 meters, forming a myriad of pools. Cream-colored stalactites are formed as the water overflows from the pools, creating a breathtaking sight unequalled in the world. Allow a full day for this tour and also visit the nearby Roman baths named Cleopatra’s pool and submerge yourself in the natural spring waters.

Istanbul Three Day Tour

Horse Safari

Be John Wayne for day and enjoy the Trek across Pamacak woods and sea front, take your horse for a “Cool off”, into the sea and gallop along the shore, a full day out.

Scuba Diving

Kusadasi is an ideal destination for a family or for divers who have a non-diving partner, or for those who want to try diving for the first time. It makes a great place to combine diving with a normal holiday and package deals tend to be very reasonably priced. Try dives, boat dives and PADI courses available.

Daily Boat trip

Since 1994 Hasan and Rianna Kalkan have organized day trips on the fabulous Gulet named Amores.1. A gullet is a traditional Turkish wooden sailing boat which have either 1 or 2 masts. The Amores.1 is a classic model with 2 masts. On the front deck we have 4 inch white leather mattresses where you can comfortably lie down to get a beautiful tan. At the rear of the boat we have a semi-circle white leather seat where you can sit down in the shade and enjoy the beautiful scenery with a cool drink. During the day we visit 5 blue lagoons where you will get the chance to swim, fish or snorkel. Fishing lines and snorkel equipment are on board for use all day free of charge. In the early afternoon we serve an open buffet lunch and later in the day we give fresh fruit, there is no extra charge for any of the drinks served.
